The first rule of thumb is to let thirst be your guide. Although there are no set requirements for water, the Food and nutrition board recommends that the daily total water from beverages and food for women should be 91 ounces and 125 ounces for men. That’s almost 11.5 glasses for women and about 15.5 glasses for men. You are probably thinking that’s a lot but this also includes all the water in your food.
Infusing fruits and vegetables not only powers up your water with some nutrients but it makes it more fun to drink. Try adding your favorite fruits to your water the night before you drink it, it certainly makes a difference. My personal favorite are lemon water and pineapple water. Once you are hydrated inside when you use a moisturizer like our body soufflé your skin will look and feel supple. Remember when you look good, you feel good!
